8 Wallet-Friendly Gift Ideas For A Traveller Friend
Category : Travel
Finding gifts for a traveler friend was NOT a piece of cake until I found some coolest wallet-friendly products on Amazon. I wonder why I never came across such stuff before. I’d love to share a list of 8 travel gift ideas I am totally in love with.
1) SCRATCH MAP
A personalized world map to record all the travel adventures. Take off the top gold foil and marvel at all the countries you’ve been to.
2) PASSPORT HOLDER
This is the most basic yet necessary thing a traveler needs. I am insanely in love with Amazon’s collection of Passport Holders. Don’t let your friend put their essential documents like passport, visa, or tickets in a boring black and white folder.
3) LUGGAGE SCALE
I am sure EVERY girl needs this before boarding their flight. I have encountered tons of people at the check-in counter shifting stuff from their main luggage to cabin baggage to avoid the excess baggage charge. This is when I realize the importance of a luggage scale and how it can help in smooth travel.
4) ‘HOW TO READ MENU’ BOOK
Eating in countries like France, Spain or Greece can be a MAJOR problem because it is impossible to read the menu if you don’t know the language. Amazon has a solution for this too. Gift your friend this teeny-tiny pocket sized book so the focus is more on the food and less time is spent on understanding the dining menus.
5) DSLR NECK STRAP
Amazon is filled with super cute and classy neck straps for your photographer friend. My photographer friend Camera Maverick does not like the original company strap much and loves having different straps. ” You love yourself right? You buy sexy clothes to look good. I buy these things so that my baby also looks good” said Mr Maverick.
6) DRY BAG
A traveller has no fixed plans, no fixed itinerary or at times is completely unaware of the next destination. Consequently, they might land up river-rafting or walking through waist-deep water in a cave. I am writing all this so that you understand the need of dry bags in such situations. Dry bags are quite cheap and a must have for nomads.
7) A BACKPACK
No matter how good the collection of backpack he/she has, a traveler always craves for more. Try and gift them a backpack of different color or volume and I am sure your gift will be loved more than anything.
The smallest YET the most vital thing while travelling. It helps in keeping your luggage safe from theft while staying in hostels or overnight train journeys. I’d never suggest to gift this alone. Do pair it with some other gift mentioned above. 😀
Tell us which one you are planning to gift in the comments below.
